Celebrate the Kentucky Derby with a Party and Auction The Manchester-Essex Rotary Club holds its annual fundraiser on May 6, 5:30pm at the American Legion Hall. Tickets are $25 at the door, or can be purchased from any Rotarian. Watch the Derby on a large, flat-screen TV, which will then be auctioned off; there will be music, dinner, wine tasting, cash bar and a live auction hosted by Senator Bruce Tarr. Available items include sports & event tickets, “instant wine cellar,” amazing artwork by local Cape Ann artists, many gift baskets and bundles, gift certificates to North Shore restaurants, and more. It’s a lot of fun and this year there will be prizes for the best Derby Hat, one for the ladies and one for the gents. Plan on attending and bidding on some great items while raising money that directly benefits Manchester and Essex. Every cent we make we give away to the many causes our Rotary Club supports. |
