Events

The Club is thrilled to host the 19th Annual Kentucky Derby Party and Auction on Saturday May 4th from 5:30 to 8:30!  This event brings items from all corners from golf outings and beach barbecues to fine clothing and complete wine cellars.  There is a silent auction for smaller items and a live auction featuring auctioneer and State Senator Bruce Tarr for the big ticket items like pro sports tickets, golf outings, boat cruises and more!  We will watch the Derby race live, there will be a non-betting lottery on the outcome, a hat contest with the best woman's and men's hat winning a bottle of real Kentucky bourbon and a bouquet of roses.  An excellent buffet dinner will be served throughout the evening, cash bar (yes mint julep), and best of all we are raising money for local scholarships, food banks and international projects. So put on your Derby hats and be ready to have a fun time with fun people. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or from a member for $60 or at the door $70 follow the link below to buy online.

Support the North Shore Kids PMC Bike Ride by manning a water station at one of several ride routes. The Kids PMC bike ride is a fun ride for kids ages 2-15 with 100% of all funds raised donated to Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This is a super fun family event!

Dinners are back at The Open Door!  We are hosting dinner and looking for approx 3 volunteers. 

We will be making breakfast for community guests of The Grace Center and need approx 4 volunteers for this event. 

Auction Item at Derby. West Beach Cookout- We will serve food and drinks to the winners at the Bath House. It's a fun evening for all involved. 

We will be selling RWB tickets in advance of the June 29th event in front of the Manchester Post Office from 9am - 1pm on Saturdays June 15th and 22nd.

Please join us for a fun evening cruising Gloucester Harbor on the Schooner Ardelle!  

Light food will be served on the dock prior to boarding.  Drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are available for purchase on the Ardelle.  You may also bring your own non-alcoholic beverages.

The Ardelle will set sail from the Maritime Gloucester docks, 23 Harbor Loop, Gloucester, MA at 6:00 pm.

Unless the weather is extremely inclement, Captain Harold says we will sail.  It looks like it will clear on time, but bring rain gear just in case.

This meeting will be held on the beach!  Bring your own chair. No problem parking in the lot at this early hour, even if you don't have a parking sticker.

The Manchester Essex Rotary will join with the Rotary chapters in Gloucester, Rockport and Ipswich-Rowley.  We begin at 6:00 pm, with socializing and delicious food.  At 7:30 we will be treated to a performance of The Hombres, a play by Tony Meneses.  

Join the Manchester Essex Rotary Road Team to ride either 25 or 50 miles, proceeds to benefit Greenbelt, Essex County's Land Trust.  Please contact Ron Parker with any questions or to join. the team.
