The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Saturday of May 9, 2026 Day of Food Drive 3:30-6:30
Group of 8 volunteers Volunteers will meet Beverly Bootstraps' Food Assistance staff at the Beverly Post Office on Tozier Road to unload mail trucks and weigh and load food donations into Bootstraps' truck. Requirements: Should be able to lift 40lb boxes (or 2 people per box) Closed-toe shoes Anyone 16 or older is welcome. Child volunteers, middle school age and up, are too, as long as at least one adult accompanies them for every two children.

More info: President Brian Pellinen is a Salem resident and a higher education leader with over 30 years of college and university experience who previously served as Montserrat’s Dean of Academic Affairs before stepping into the presidency. In his leadership roles at Montserrat, he helped guide strategic planning, expand academic programs, secure grant funding for student mentorships and internships, and achieve the college's first U.S. News & World Report rankings. Brian holds a B.A. in English from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree from York University, and he is also an active visual artist and writer. Alos joingin us : Bernie Romanowski — Director of Major Giving Bernie Romanowski resides in Manchester and serves as the Director of Major Giving at Montserrat College of Art, where he leads the strategy for major gifts and donor engagement to support the college's studio-based education. He brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit development, having previously held leadership and fundraising positions at Pathways for Children and Landmark School. Bernie also worked as Director of Operations at the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce in 2021/22. A long-time North Shore resident, he focuses on building community relationships and greatly values the local philanthropic community.
