At our June evening Rotary meeting, outgoing President Bridget Murray recapped some of the year's accomplishments while members enjoyed an Italian dinner at the Ravenswood Nature Center. After a short walk and historical presentation by Ramona Latham, the Engagement Manager for Cape Ann properties of The Trustees and an expert environmental educator, Bridget walked the club through the past 12 months, scholarship awards, sponsorship of cultural, educational, and civic organizations, while building friendships and networking with the community. VP Josephine McCullough, incoming president, presented Bridget with the coveted "Past President" pin and plaque, as well as a memento of the club's appreciation of her hard work. Bridget showed her appreciation of club members with gifts of flower baskets. After a short hiatus, namely the Red, White, and Blue Pancake Breakfast, the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club will resume meeting July 6 at the American Legion Hall.
